Award winning and rapidly expanding digital marketing agency Wickedweb, is looking for an experienced, creative and talented Search Engine Optimisation Executive to join our expanding development studio in our illustrious new offices in Sevenoaks.
Our fast-paced digital agency works across an interesting variety of sectors, with major blue chip clients like All Saints Fashion, Teachers Whisky, Jamie Oliver, Mitre Sports, Bedales and many others.
The Role
As the Search Engine Optimisation Executive your responsibilities will include:-
- Analyse client's current website and provide a well defined site assessment on current natural search performance.
- Understand the major technical factors that influence natural search position improvement, Indexing and Keyword ranking.
- Perform Natural Search Engine Optimization (SEO) activities, including but not limited to, identification and analysis of performance metrics; keyword research and ranking analysis; competitive market audits; writing SEO friendly copy and implementation of SEO best practices.
- Proactively present program recommendations along with benefits to clients in order to timely advance program goals and objectives.
- Support the account management team, including interaction with clients and partners.
- Take an active interest in new SEO innovations such as RSS, Social search, blogging and Video and communicate these benefits to clients.
- Understanding analytics, how to measure performance and report regularly on SEO progress.
- Assess, manage and report on inbound link building strategies.
- Mentor and share your wealth of knowledge with your team offering assistance and guidance when necessary.
The Candidate
- Client facing/presentation and exceptional written and numeracy skills including high proficiency in excel.
- Commercial awareness of natural Search in the context of client's marketing plans.
- Website build/development skills - HTML, Javascript etc highly advantageous.
- Appreciation of CMS and dynamic URL's.
- Appreciation of web analytics and techniques.
- A curious disposition to technology and SEO developments.
- Minimal 18 months experience in house or agency.
- Team orientated.
- Proven track record of delivering results.
- Above all you will have a wicked sense of humour and enjoy what you do.
