This online game for the Vitality Show had to be fun, communicative, encourage brand awareness and involve an online advertising campaign.
dmg world media asked us to design and build a fun online game that communicated the key theme of their Vitality Show - 'find the right balance and get a new perspective'. The aim was to encourage visitors to the website, to interact with the brand, promote ticket sales and expand the database.
The fun and colourful online 'Yoga Balance game' was conceived, which pits each visitor's keyboard reactions against our tottering upturned yoga character. The 'send-to-a-friend' function created a 'viral' element and it was all accompanied by a competition to win a spa break to encourage participation. Wickedweb also created a strategic online advertising campaign. Banners and skyscrapers in the same style as the game were placed on Zest, Top Sante, iVillage and Weight Watchers websites to drive traffic.
The client, like our yoga character, was head-over-heels - with over 4000 entries in the three weeks prior to the show and more than 1800 extra contacts added to the database.
