The Client

FreeMove is an alliance of four leading mobile operators dedicated to making the management of global mobile communication simple and cost effective for large Multi-national companies.  The company’s aim is to offer best in class mobile communication and management services across Europe through the collaboration of Orange, T-Mobile, TeliaSonera and TIM networks. 

The website needed to showcase FreeMove’s offers to prospective customers with better merchandising of available support systems and some interactive features to enhance the user journey.  Information needed to be presented in a credible and confident way to consolidate and enhance visitors’ perception of FreeMove. The majority of site visitors will already have heard about FreeMove so the job of the website is to inform and impress them so that feel confident in their purchase decision, as well as to raise awareness of the organisation and improve its perception versus key competitors.

The Strategy

Ultimately, our strategy for the website was to provide more information on the alliance and the services it can provide, in a credible and professional way, lifting the B2B content through the creative.  Objectives that this strategy considered include:To establish the brand’s credibility to encourage users to choose a FreeMove partner as a provider over competitors.

  • To be an effective marketing tool for the alliance and its services.
  • To be easy to administer and control, ensuring the content is always fresh and up to date.
  • To be user friendly – clear presentation of information and easy user journeys for both new and existing customers.

The Solution

Wickedweb’s team completely refreshed FreeMove’s digital offering, so the new site is a powerful marketing tool. The creative portrays a professional and modern feel that clearly and confidently presents information that makes the user’s journey easy and impressive.  Wickedweb further developed the company’s brand guidelines to improve the brand’s communication and move the company’s external presentation forward - the design communicates the core brand values, including credibility, reliability, competitiveness, high quality service, best local solution (globally) and seamless integration across international networks.The WickedwebCMS was used for the FreeMove site as it’s easily updateable via an intuitive system and offers unlimited functionality.  It enables quick links to external websites (such as the 4 providers in the alliance), member’s login and news feeds.

The Result

Long-term, Wickedweb will work with FreeMove to ensure the website remains ahead of competitors, both in design and functionality, and continues to deliver increases in visits to the website and new business enquiries.
