Following successful social media marketing and PPC campaigns, Frankie & Benny’s approached Wickedweb to facilitate the running of a promotion targeting their Facebook fans with the overall objectives to learn the revenue potential of Facebook and the responsiveness / value of it’s members.
The campaign commenced on a Friday morning with the pretence that it would run until the following Friday. The success of the campaign was based on delivering 10,000 additional new members, 15,000 fans in total, to their Facebook page with £40,000 net revenue to the business.
The Facebook social media campaign started at 9am on the Friday morning with an initial fan base of 4,600. By 2pm that day this figure had doubled to 9,381. By close of business the total had reached 13,376 with the target figure reached by 7.30pm that day hitting on the first day of the campaign.

Numbers continued to grow over the weekend and had doubled to 30,000 by 9pm Monday.
